"High-accuracy, high-speed blade
cutting of green ceramic ware...
CM 14 cutter"
|
CM 14 is setting new standards in high-accuracy, high-speed blade cutting of green ceramic ware. The compact CM 14 utilizes software that allows one operator to work multiple machines simultaneously.
The automatic blade insertion and
alignment system is unique; resulting in considerably
improved uptime performance.
The sturdy CM 14 design with sealed
ball bearings on moving parts ensures a long lifetime for
the equipment with minimal maintenance. The vision system
on the CM 14 adapts itself to your green ceramic by
motorized camera positioning. The high-resolution cameras
can detect the designated marks on the side or on the top
of the ceramic bar, even under the lowest contrast
conditions.
Automatically the blade position will be
corrected with high accuracy. The temperatures of blade
and table can be set in a very wide range to accommodate
the process conditions needed for high-thickness cutting
and high speeds without deformation of the bar.
The speed of the blade and cutting
depth can be set in accordance with your cutting wishes.
 | Cuts the most difficult, high thickness Ceramic Ware |
 | Automatically positions knife with high accuracy |
 | Automatically finds cutting markers |
 | Adjustable speed and cutting depth |
 | Quick change and alignment of cutting blade |
 | Warning function for blade wear and replacement |
 | High productivity due to high cutting speed |
The ceramic ware is fixed on the carrying table by a high vacuum on a paper or foil carrier or on your metal carrying plate.
The software of the CM 14 is very operator-friendly and allows easy automatic alignment of the bar when starting and easy detection of markers. The machine will also accept high ceramic ware. The blade holder
will accept your choice of stainless steel or solid
carbide blades.
After a preset number of cuts the CM 14
will warn that the blade must be changed. The blade
holder will open automatically to allow easy change of the
blade. After insertion of the new blade the holder will close. The blade is aligned automatically. The total blade changing procedure will therefore take much less than a minute with no tools necessary. The CM 14 is
equipped with servomotors allowing speeds of up to 18,000 cuts per hour (5 cuts per second!).
Together with the uptime performance this results in unequalled productivity for high accuracy cutting.

"Designed for green ceramic blocks edges trimming after final lamination
(TRM-14) and to cut pressed ceramic stack to several part
(TRM-16) "
|
Edge
cutter is designed for green ceramic blocks edges trimming after final
lamination (TRM-14) and to cut pressed ceramic stack to
several part (TRM-16).
Normally edge cutters are used to
access cutting marks inside the stack (TRM-14), additionally (TRM-16) cuts the stack to the individual parts according to the
program.
Operator places the green ceramic blocks on preheating table where they are
heated up to cutting temperature.
After preheating blocks
are placed on to heated rotary cutting table. Two laser
pointers helps for block positioning. Cutting is done by a blade. Rotary table
turns for 90 degree until all four edges are cut.
Additional features of TRM-16 is movable stepper motor driven
cutting table. It gives an additional opportunity to cut
the stack to the individual parts.
Cutting steps are fully programmable in x and y direction.
 | Cuts edges of stack |
 | Simple, flexible and accurate |
 | Can cut different ceramic blocks dimension (adjustable) |
 | Laser pointers installed for precise block positioning |
 | Heated cutting table and cutting blade |
 | Up to 4mm block thickness |
 | Cuts green ceramic bar in to several individual parts
according to the program (TRM-16) |

"Designed to prepare individual green ceramic sheets on carrier foil
from a tape-cast roll...the SC1 sheet cutter"
|
The Keko SC1 is designed to prepare individual green ceramic sheets on
carrier foil from a tape-cast roll.
The individual sheets are especially
suitable for use on the Keko P200 printers and Keko IS-2M or IS-2A stackers, to
achieve a high accurate stack.
The basic process steps are:
- A roll is placed in the
automatic unwinder.
- The left and right (often less
accurate) edges of the ceramic green tape are cut at the desired width.
- Four positioning holes are
punched in the carrier film.
- The sheet is cut in the
desired length.
- The individual sheets are
collected in a tray for further use.
